Eagles Fall to Dolphins 37-31…TRASH!

There’s a lot of disappointed Eagles fans in MIA…

After the Dallas Cowboys suffered their sixth loss of the season, the Eagles were eyeing 1st place in the NFC East…but the team/fans did not receive the results we were hoping for. Instead Philly slides into a 3-game losing streak, their first since 2016.

EAGLES LOST TO THE GOD DAMN DOLPHINS

This is BY FAR most embarrassing loss in the Doug Pederson era.

A team that is not very good (5-6) allowed themselves to let their feet off the gas after they had a 28-14 lead at the half. This re cap will not praise the teams early success. Call me what you will, but this team sucks and their efforts will not be rewarded until they give me a good reason!

Personnel and coaching are to blame for this loss. No one is off the hook.

Even with Alshon Jeffery eclipsing 100 yards, this team does not have a TRUE TREAT that defensives have respect down the field. It seems as though none of Carson Wentz’s passes travel over 10 yards.

This offense is so painful to watch. If the receivers are not dropping passes, Wentz can’t get the ball to them . Both situations occurred in Miami this afternoon. A few high misfires from Wentz, and two BIG DROPS by Zach Ertz come to mind in this contest.

Play-calling on the offensive end has been concerning all season. I don’t know how many times we are going to see the same silly screen passes to Goedert and Sanders. Let’s not forget to mention the good ol’ “pick” plays that we always seem to get penalized on.

Ohh yeah I almost forgot, what am I thinking? There is no true scheme to this offense, when in doubt, just force the ball to Ertz.

Speaking of Sanders, he needs to get the ball more. He had an early TD paired with a few fine runs in the first, but as always Doug Pederson loves to abandon the run game in put the ball in the hands of Wentz.

Jay Ajayi also had 2 carries for 9 yards in his “revenge” return to Miami...WHOOOOOOO

Something has got to give.

Defensively, this unit needs to figure out what they are. Good or garbage.

After watching these last two games, the defense gave me a reason to believe this team can make potential playoff push…BUTTTT NOOOPPEEEE!

They let RYAN FITZPATRICK of all people throw all over them! 365 yards and 3 TD’s! These stats are very discouraging due to the fact that Fitzpatrick threw a pick on the first play from scrimmage!

DeVante Parker (who the Eagles could have traded for at the deadline…) imploded on Ronald Darby by registering 7 receptions for 159 yards and a pair of TD’s…

For the third week in a row, Philadelphia allows a trick play to be scored as a TD…

It is quite evident that something has to be done to this coaching staff after the conclusion of the 2019 season, and maybe even durning!

Believe it or not, Philly is STILL in contention for the NFC East crown.

It is unbelievably hard to envision the Eagles winning 4 in a row (all against division opponents…) after they just LOST TO THE DOLPHINS!

An eighth loss would undoubtably eliminate Philadelphia from playoff contention, and give the birds a chance to finish 8-8…at best.

Remaining optimistic, this group hosts the New York Giants on Monday Night Football next week. As we all know, the Birds have gotten the better of the G-Men in recent memory.

Hopefully next week will be a “get right game” for the Eagles, but that’s exactly what this contest was anticipated to be…
